will be possible to add (extend) current statusbar?
a/ range of selection (characters/lines)
b/ how many lines was affected by some operation (e.g. trim right, changed lines: 0)
…like we can see at SynWrite

TIA
Miro

if too much complicated, you can leave it

a) There're options ui_statusbar_* with macros
//Macros:
// {y}: line of top caret
// {y2}: line of bottom caret
// {yb}: line of 1st selection begin
// {ye}: line of 1st selection end
// {x}: column of top caret, tab-chars counted as 1
// {xx}: column of top caret, tab-chars expanded
// {count}: number of lines
// {carets}: number of carets
// {sel}: number of lines affected by selection(s)
// {cols}: number of columns in column-selection

b) IMO no need to show "changed 23 lines"

yes, I was in hope that ui_statusbar_small_sel if for that, but what of macros is for number of charaters in selection? (selected at one line only)

b)
I have a different "IMO", but I respect your… is good for me to know if there are some lines not corectly exported from another sw, or if there are some stupid (not allowed) characters, and so on… I can see a color mark on left side, but from time to time is better for me to have a number

a) {cols} is also for small-selection, it works.

super! {cols} is ok, I do not test it, my selection was not related to column-selection… hmm… mea culpa

b/ trim will be enough, find/replace already report that

thanks a lot for this help!
