Some quick tests seem to show that -nsl works (this is what I need). Haven't tested -nss though.

Any problems... you'll be the first to hear ;)

We're getting there :D 8-)

Back in May, when I saw this option in the Wiki: -ns - Ignore saved session I assumed this meant that no session would be loaded on start-up but that the session state would be saved on exit. And so it worked. Then, over summer, you changed that (losing backwards compatibility in the process). For m...

I've now tested the current beta (115.3) on Windows and Linux and so far have encountered no problems with the session handling other than the change in -ns behaviour with the default session. I can circumvent this change in a slightly clumsy way with a batch file or bash script. This whole saga has...

I will look at the latest beta later and will test it with my various setups and report.

Can you also upload a Linux version of the current 115.3?

Seems to work.

I still have the problem that -ns does not save the default session and as I explained I do not think at all that wanting to do this is logically inconsistent. It definitely worked in earlier version as I think it should.

This beta seems to solve problem 1 (not 2 though). However, it introduces another problem not in 115.0. I start Cud fresh with this command line: d:\pApps\CudaText\cudatext.exe -s=d:\pApps\CudaText\cudabrief 1.txt This works as expected and loads 1.txt. The second start, with the first instance stil...

So can you press "don't save/ keep in session"? why do you press "don't save"?   I can't press this famous button because it's not there! See attached image. For completeness' sake, in my user.json I have: "ui_reopen_session_cmdline": true, "ui_aut...

> I can't because Cud seems unwilling to save a session if -ns was given. and it looks like logical action. No, not to me. Loading a session is one thing and often I don't want to load a session at all but start afresh (or if you prefer, want to start with an empty session) and build up a set of fi...

Saving files and saving sessions

If I start Cud with two files on the command line: cudatext 1.txt 2.txt and leave Cud immediately the session is saved. If I start Cud with two files on the command line: cudatext 1.txt 2.txt and change one file and then leave Cud the "Save tabs?" dialog pops up. If I decline saving ("...
