I tested the "f" option by itself it works. But "pf" to first consider an open project still remembers the last selected folder path after removing the root. I've been opening folders (File -> Open folder...), then removing the root node to close them, but not saving project file...

yes, right, ProjectManager overrides current folder for 'open' dlg, and i feel it is OK. it is needed when I work with opened project. not sure we need the option here. Friend Alexander, I checked again, it works that way, but only if I don't select a file or folder in the Project window. Otherwise, the currently highlighted folder in the Project window is the initial directory for opening files, not the active file's path. The 'Save As...' dialog goes as expected ...

I too am grateful for this program. I discovered it not long ago and use it exclusively now. It's great to find an alternative to something you use, alternatives are good.
