Stefan, please confirm this change is OK. plugin 'Snippets' (not SnippetPanel!) is updated in AddonsManager.

+ add: allow VSCode-format snippets (created via plugin's dialog 'Manage snippets') to be for ALL lexers. To do so, enter 'group lexers' field value '*'.

This works indeed, now I am able to define snippets without assigning a lexer to them.
But how do I insert these snippets into my doc?

Guess, I am still used to the old Synwrite way of picking them from the side panel. I will figure out how it works now.

Snippets plugin gives n ways to do it.
- assign an 'alias' for the snippet. type alias in the text, and TAB-key
- call menu-list of all snippets: 'Plugins / snippets / snippets menu'
