Hi Alexey,

SynWrite is great! Two questions please:

_ When you do Search > "Mark All", is there a way to remove the highlight color from the text after you finish? If so, can you assign a shortcut to that (rather than having to use menus each time, etc.)?

_ When you use Spell Check, it turns on Live Spelling (even with "Enable Live Spelling" off in the Options). Was that intentional, or is it a bug? Is there a way to prevent it?

Wouldn't it make a little more sense to keep them as two separate features? That's how they usually are in other editors and word processors.

I know I'm only one user—but I prefer to check my spelling manually, after I finish writing. (I find the red spelling lines too distracting.) But when I do that with SynWrite, I have to turn off the automatic spelling every time... That seems unnecessary. If I wanted it on, I'd turn it on.

How about making it an option (selected by default) to turn it on automatically? Then your users who liked it could still have it, and the rest of us could enjoy more normal spell-check behaviour...? Cheers, A.

That would need big rewrite, it's required yet that Live Spell is turned on. Only with Live Spell on, total check works

BTW, I'm really not complaining about SW at all. This is a very minor thing... The editor itself is really fantastic!

Great. This was niggling me, too, though not enough to complain about it, but now I am glad it got fixed.

When you select text, a marker appears at the left whose tooltip says "Create sync range". What does this mean? I can't find anything in the Help or the forum about it. Thanks!

A 3-part question about the caret:
1. can we change caret color?
2. can we stop caret from blinking?
3. can we change caret shape when in overwrite (vs insert)? for example a full block in insert mode, and a half-height block in overwrite mode?
