yes; on updating, just overwrite folders 'py', 'data'. 'settings' does not exist in distro.

I notice that the new version support floating tab to be always on top.
I use windows to test, it seems doesn't work. Is there any other settings need to make?

To activate 'always on top' for floating groups:

- focus the floating window
- call Command Palette by hotkey (Ctrl+Shift+P), choose item 'toggle window always on top'

does it work this way?

No, it works for the main window but not the floating tab.

Also,the feature since 197 below seems not works for me, I must toggle the 'wrapped search' button for that.
+ add: text search shows additional confirmation when 'wrapped search' is off and search reaches the edge of the document.

I want to repeat it.
OK on Linux gtk2 x64.

I checked after the overwrite of 'py', 'data' folder, it doesn't work, and the about shows still 1.196.
Using the new downloaded package, it works, and the about shows 1.198.2.
Should I also need to overwrite the cudatext.ex*e to update?

of course! cudatext.exe is main program. you MUST overwrite it.

so all is working in 1.198.2.
