what i like about View menu: items begin with 'Toggle '. they are named similarly somewhat. so I dont like you suggestion. also moving 'Selection' items into 'Text' is not good for me.
also current 'View' items do similar things: toggle something in UI, ie i repeat that they are named similarly 'Toggle '.

Well here is my sense. Checkmarks already show on/off status. Repeating the word 'Toggle' on every item makes the menu harder to read. My eyes must adjust to ignore 14 copies of 'Toggle' just to pick out an item. I think removing the word 'Toggle' from all items would make View much clearer, and easier to use.

About other ideas, I may experiment with menu customization on my own. Thanks!

Using Configure Menu plugin, you can remove word 'Toggle' from 14 items, and make other changes. I like current defaults, sorry.

after thinking, comparing with other apps, I decided to remove leading 'Toggle' from items of the View menu.
