Why is this needed, while we have simple click on sidebar's icon (toggles find/replace)?
BTW. I added console error msg 'ERROR: Missing icon filename: ', which is now shown for your Cud folder; your Cud folder misses ok filenames in dir data/toolbaricons/Fugue_16x16.

I don't use the sidebar personally. I'm not a programmer, so my text editing needs are fairly simple. I'm happy just using the two toolbar buttons to toggle the Find/Replace, just thought it may be helpful to others to have the toggle in that menu, that's all

Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying here.

I mean that your folder (in your zip file)
data/toolbaricons/Fugue_16x16
misses N required icon filenames.
seems these are the icons from SynWrite, not from Cud.

Not sure I want to add new i18n string, for that menuitem, so I don't want to add menu.

Re Toolbar Icons: No matter. I simply replaced all the Toolbar icons with my own, so the "faulty" buttons aren't shown.
Re Menu Button: Ok, was just a suggestion anyway.

I also don't see the free-space on the Find dialog, for the right-click...

This is ok too.
