For the latest version, I found some *.dll files at root directory are updated with a newer modified time(compared to 1.196).
When updating, do I need to overwrite these files except to the 'data' and 'py' folder?

yes, you should overwrite all binary files (DLL and PYD and ZIP). and of course the 'cudatext.exe' binary.
