Hi everyone,

I'm using SynWrite portable and I was wondering if it is possible to drag and drop selected text from SynWrite to another window e.g. a web browser. Currently this doesn't seem to work for me (if it is available in SynWrite).

I also work portable, and as a workaround, you can pass your selection to the other program via External Tools:

Code: Select all

FileName: {SynDrive}\YourPath\Your.exe
Parameters: {SelectionFileName}

For this to work, the target application must be able to accept a FileName as Parameter, of course.

I recently updated to the new version..
using syn /ro does not seem to work in the new version.

Is the readonly switch changed?
