CudaText v.1.96.0.2 not compatible w. Catalina

I tried to install the latest version of CudaText, but after opening the image I get an app icon crossed through.
If I tried to open the app I get an error message from Catalina that says "CudaText needs to be updated".
Version 1.94.0.2 doesn't have this issue.
