wrong caret location when click selected region

Maybe this is a bug:
1) select some words (more than one character) in one line
2) plan to place the caret between the start and end of the selected words(not the start or end), so click that location;
3) the caret appears at the start or end instead of the needed location, it is wrong location.
version:1.105.0.0
WIN10 64BIT

Nothing to do with the topic of this thread... I assume the OP (hycmos) to be the same person who opened a thread in the notepad++ forum called "The best way to boycott NP++ is to use another better Text Editor: CudaText". If so I just want to thank you for starting that discussion... without it I wouldn't have found Cudatext.

Good idea! It is not bad to post something in NP++ forum.
I really think cudatext is better than NP++.

When a person wants to select one editor, usually he resorts to google, bing,...
I do the same thing. for example, key words=" best text editor "
But the search results are not good for cudatext.
It seems those writers have no idea of cudatext.
