MacOS-version, issue typing caret (^) in CudaText

Hello!
I have an issue on MacOS-version 1.172.0.1. I cannot type the caret letter (^) in CudaText (and I only have this issue in CudaText). When I type ^ I get an empty space instead. I am sure this is related to a setting, and I tried to find a solution, but it's tricky to find information since all matches so far relates to the insert-function. (I don't think this is related to dead keys). I found this out while trying to type ^ in the search field using regex, but it is a global issue in the app.
I hope it's an easy one, because I'd love to keep using CudaText!
