Ruler size

I like to have the ruler displayed, but it is rather larger. Could it be made a little narrower? The taller hash marks (the ones under the numbers) could be made a little shorter, and the numbers themselves could have less whitespace above and below, they could be a little closer to the hash mark, and a little closer to the top of the ruler. All of this would result in a more narrow ruler.

Works! Thanks so much, Alexey, for such quick response, and helpful as always.
By squishing the height of the ruler and the tabs, I'm able to get the same number of text lines, using the same text font, as I have in another editor, so that paging of files is the same between the two editors. This makes it much easier to work between them.

This is strange. Yesterday, I was making changes in user.json, and using Command Palette settings: reload/apply config to test them out. I was adjusting ruler height, tab height, ui_scale, etc. to get a certain number of text lines in a maximized window. But when I open CudaText today, I have one less text line in the window, even though the ruler height and tab height appear to be the same as I left them yesterday?

I think it happened because the text got wider, causing the horizontal scroll bar to appear. But after some testing, it seems that once the horizontal scroll bar has appeared (set to show automatically), that it never disappears, even when all the text is reduced in width. Perhaps that is by design?

yes, that is by design - when text becomes narrower (e.g. you scroll down to the shorter lines), scrollbar don't hide.
