The macro plugin adds the top level Macro menu, which contains the functions from that plugin, and also the function "Start/stop recording", which is a native command. In command palette, assigning a key to "start/stop macro recording", that key does not show up in the Macro menu, although the keys assigned to the other macro functions in that menu do show up.

i guess this minor issue (missing hotkey in the menu) is hard to solve. you can try and give the patch - the author is busy.

No problem; still works, anyway.
