Is there a way to Side Load a Font File in CudaText, Windows?

Using CudaText on Windows, would there be a way to use a Font without officially installing it in Windows?

The use case would be: Using CudaText on a "Non-Admin Access" Windows Computer, where installing fonts (installing a font file) is not possible. If I still wanted to use a different font (different from the default fonts that come with Windows) would that be possible with CudaText? Maybe there's a Plugin that could do this?

I'm assuming this is not possible, because I've never seen it done any other way on Windows, but who knows, maybe someone considered a way to do this. Specifically for a Portable CudaText installation, where you would not need to install your font on every new machine you use your own personalized CudaText.

Thanks.

Well... this is me auto-correcting myself it would seem. I just found a Plugin called "cuda_fonts" with the description:

plugin for CudaText. for Windows only. loads font files, from [CudaText]/data/fonts folder, on CudaText start. it doesn't install fonts into OS. supports font types: .ttf .ttc .otf .fon Smack-Dab EXACTLY what I was looking for! CudaText man... 👍

BTW I did not test Fonts-plugin on Win11 (it was made years ago).

Just letting you know that I just tested it in Win11, with CudaText Portable, and it works!

Cheers mate
