UI "editor, selection, font" set to "none color"

Post by _DT »

Hi there... I just started using CudaText and am loving it so far, but I'm having a little trouble getting the color theme to behave as I'd like...

I have a theme with a gray/slate background and I'd like to be able to have the background of the selected text change (to black) while all the colorized syntax highlighting remains as normal. I've tried setting "editor, selection, font" to "none color", but while this sometimes does what I'd like for short/partial sections at the beginning and end of the section I highlight, the bulk generally displays as white. Is this a bug, or is there some setting I need to tweak to get it to behave as I describe?

Edit: I am using the cudatext-qt5-bin 1.115.0.1-0 AUR package FWIW

Thanks!

but this is not supported, sorry. And "none" color for selection BG/font is not supported (maybe I need to disable none color here).
