Hide hidden files when open files

I am trying CudaText on Linux and I cannot find a way to permanently hide dot files (usually hidden) in the "Open file" browser.

I would appreciate any help.

in the "Open file" browser-- this is OS dialog, and Cud cannot change hidden files in this dialog. for example, on my Ubuntu 20, the Open File dialog has the context menu. it has item "Show hidden files".
