Hi,
How can I achieve an arrangement of panels like the one in the attached figure? Is a plugin necessary?
I've looked a lot in the main menu and looked for possible plugins, but I haven't been able to find them yet.

I managed to discover the menu that divides the panels! There are some stripes on the right side of the Help option in the main menu. I think, it could be a more intuitive icon!
Anyway, once I have made the distribution I want of the panels, with a project open, how do I direct the file to be opened in a certain panel? When I focus on it, I click on the project and the file only opens in the main panel.
I can only open it in a specific panel if I focus on it and open a file via the main menu: File/Open file...

"Preview tab" is always created in the first tab-group, even if the focused editor is located in different tab-group. It was made on purpose, to avoid the situation when "preview tab" jumps from one tab-group to another.
Again, if you click different items in the Project Manager, and files are opened in the first tab-group, it's not a bug. If you need to open clicked files in different tab-groups, you can do it - by unchecking the option "Use preview tab on item clicking" in the Project Manager options.

I am grateful for your attention Alexey!
The features implemented in the project plugin are very good! Unintuitive at first, as well as very different from most other editors, but very good: congratulations!
