Plugin HTML Live Preview

Post by nerdydude90 »

Hi. I installed the plugin HTML Live Preview, and I went to use it, but it said it couldn't open the browser? So I changed the browser in the config, but that didn't help anything either, so I'm unable to use the HTML live preview plugin. Is there a way to fix this?

- your OS, desktop (if it's non-Windows)
- your browser? full path to browser program?
- how browser is installed: Flatpak, Snap, installer?
- your current config file?

I'm on Windows 11. I mostly use Zen Browser or sometimes Vivaldi. I installed both browsers using an installer from their websites.

1. update plugin (from 'plugins / addon manager / update'), I made a fix for windows
2. don't forget to follow readme.txt steps.
don't forget to write full path of browser EXE-file to config. don't forget to delete 'python.exe' in CudaText folder if it exists.

do you have window console (black text window) running with Flask server now?

I updated HTML Live Preview, and then a window popped up that said "Python module markdown2 is not installed" How do I go about installing markdown2?
