Disabling Status Bar Time

I want to prevent the status bar from showing clock time. All other status bar defaults are OK. I found the option called "ui_statusbar_time" but no information on its meaning or what value to use, if any. I tried zero and minus one, but they did not work.

to remove clock, uninstall the plugin Clock.
"ui_statusbar_time" is the delay to show last message in the statusbar, in seconds.
