Project and FTP - SynWrite

Post by ajaxStardust »

Is it possible to add files opened via FTP to the SynWrite Project?

I realize SynWrite is retired. I still use it often for various things as I simply know how to locate commands for certain cheap tasks (e.g. Tidy the html). Thank you so much for making it awesome. I use Cuda very rarely, I try catching on to it. :)

I realize how SynWrite was quite the complete IDE by the time it was retired, considering the extensibility with the widely functional plugins. And the interface is "familiar" for a guy who started in the 1990's.

Having never really used it as an IDE for project mgt, I realize it does well for local dev, but I don't think it will allow addition of files from FTP.

Perhaps I could manually add the paths. Maybe someone knows of a "trick" or workaround.

I don't remember Synw UI, sorry I don't know. as SynFTP opens a file in temp dir, it is not possible to add it to a project, until you do 'save as' to a OK folder.

In CudaText it is possible too: 1) CudaFormatter plugin, 2) formatter (subplugin for CudaFmt) for HTML Tidy.
