Please share your tip and tricks with the community.

Let me start:

###############################################################

Since I need this feature often,
and luckily I found them already implemented into SynWrite, (thanks :-) )

I thought it would be fine to share that find with others. Here we go...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Select whole paragraph / block between two blank lines:

- Press Alt+P to access the command palette.
- Search for 'para' to find "Select paragraph"

I have added an shortcut "Ctrl+K+P" to that command:
Options > Customize... > Interface>Keys>Filter for 'para'

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

2) Jump to next / previous blank line:

- Press Alt+P to access the command palette.
- Search for 'blank' to find "Go to: next blank line"

I have added an shortcut "Ctrl+K+L" to that command:
Options > Customize... > Interface>Keys>Filter for 'blank'

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

My navigational habits and the shortcuts I assigned:
  • Move cursor - commands to jump lines/ paragraphs - Ctrl up/dn arrows
  • Move lines up and down - Alt up/dn arrows
  • Select whole line/paragraph - triple click on it
And just for kicks, my all-time favorite feature: Portable Bookmarks
I love it. You never lose them accidentally, moving files around doesn't matter anymore, they're stored along with the file, as special comments. This allows you to use them across different editors, just set up the right FIND- and INSERT commands in other editors, and you navigate easily EVERYWHERE, not to mention that your bookmarks now have meaningful names.

And of course, put it all on dropdown Toolbar buttons, for your own custom menu convenience. SynWrite is one of the very few that still allow vertical toolbars. Makes me see more of my text, less scrolling.
