Future of SynWrite

I wonder...is it possible to use comunity edition of Delphi (now free) for compiling new updates on SynWrite?

Nope, because part of Synw code is closed (EControl), and it is for Delphi7 and all app is for Delphi7, and components Toolbar2000 and TBX are for D7.
