Hello! I'm a new potential user of CudaText. I've been searching for a replacement program for Notepad++ that will work natively on more platforms, and CudaText seems like it's almost the perfect candidate for me. With Plugins, I've been able to duplicate basically everything I like about Notepad++.
The only potential issue I have is very minor, but I haven't been able to find a way to do it, or a way to discover if it's even possible. I can't remember if this is how Notepad++ works out of the box or not, but right now, for me, it doesn't show any tabs for open files, it simply lists them in the side panel. I know that I can get a tab list on CudaText's side panel, but I don't really need that and the tabs, and the only option I've found to get rid of the tabs is ui_tabs_disabled, which not only leaves the tab bar on top, but only allows me to have one file open at a time (which, to its credit, it say it was going to do, though I had to try it anyway).
Am I missing something? Is there some way to get rid of the tab bar altogether? Again, I realize this is a super minor thing, and probably not enough to keep me from using it, it would just be nice if it was possible.
Using side panel only, no tabs
Hello
a) we have option ui_tab_position
b) tiny plugin to hide tabs - file, rename to .zip
As thank-you, I welcome some review of CudaText on some site, or youtube video.
