Textured background — it is more than just eye candy. Some writers claim it makes them more creative/ productive. Similar to listening to white noise (rain, wind, water).
I find it helps me to conceptualize things. For drafts and early versions. The attached screenshots are taken from Akelpad.
It would be a nice addition to distraction-free mode, imo.
No problem. I can always hand my files over to another app and back to Cuda again.
I just thought I share the idea. It looked simple to me (small seamless gif-tile, set to background-repeat;), and since Cuda already has a wide range of useful features for writers, it seemed like a nice add-on.
Thanks for clarifying. From my amateurish perspective, things often look easier than they really are.
